RAM ProMaster service in Bonham
Gas ProMaster and ProMaster EV are different service conversations
When a ProMaster is a delivery van, mobile workshop or business vehicle, a service delay interrupts the route. Bonham helps plan the supported maintenance or diagnosis around the van’s powertrain, cargo use and installed equipment.

A repair plan for your RAM ProMaster
Identify the powertrain before scheduling. A gasoline van needs engine maintenance and may need drivability testing; an electric van has different propulsion and charging systems. Both can have tire, brake, steering, door or low-voltage electrical concerns. For EV, high-voltage or specialized upfit work, confirm the exact capability and appointment path with the team first.
Ask about same-day diagnosis when available. Arrival time, technician availability and the testing required affect timing. Agree on the initial diagnostic authorization and next update; review the findings and repair estimate before additional work. Diagnosis and completed repair are separate steps.
What the symptom changes about the inspection
A van that will not start or become ready
For a gas van, describe cranking and starting behavior. For an EV, record the vehicle’s exact ready-state or charging message. Low-voltage supply and propulsion faults are different categories, and each needs the correct diagnostic approach.
Braking or tire wear on a working route
Repeated stops, cargo weight and tire condition are useful inspection context. Tell the advisor whether the symptom changes with the van loaded. The findings should guide tire, brake or alignment work rather than a general request to “fix the handling.”
Doors, interior equipment and accessory power
Sliding/rear-door concerns, added lighting and power equipment need a clear description of what operates and what does not. Include conversion details so factory components and aftermarket equipment can be handled within the appropriate scope.
Maintenance that matches this vehicle
For a fleet van, keep mileage, available hours and route use with the maintenance record. Oil and filter requirements apply to the gas engine, not an electric powertrain. A conversion, lift or installed appliance can have its own maintenance obligations. Confirm van height, length and equipment access before the visit.

RAM ProMaster service questions
Do ProMaster EVs need engine-oil changes?
An all-electric powertrain has no gasoline engine to service. Tires, brakes and other vehicle systems still need care. Confirm the applicable EV maintenance and specialist service path for your van.
Can you work on a converted camper or mobile workshop?
Discuss the conversion and requested repair first. Factory chassis service and equipment installed by a converter are separate scopes; access and the equipment manufacturer may affect the plan.
Can we schedule several route vans?
Send the unit list, powertrains, maintenance due and operating priorities. Our fleet team can discuss staggered visits and the contact responsible for estimates and updates.
